I have spent my entire life serving District One, which has always been my home.  Throughout my 24 years as President of the Opa-locka CDC, as the Mayor of Opa-locka, and as your Representative in the State Legislature, I have labored to give the people of North Miami-Dade County a voice, to bring greater resources to our area, to ensure that we enjoy better governmental services, and to help our community prosper.
