Welcome to the Online Headquarters for my Campaign to be our next County
Commissioner representing Miami-Dade County Commission District
1. My purpose for running is to use my wealth of
experience to help improve the quality of life for every
|

|
one in Miami-Dade County, with special emphasis on the residents of District One.
I have spent my entire life serving District
One, which has always been my home. Throughout my 24 years as
President of the Opa-locka CDC, as the Mayor of Opa-locka, and as
your Representative in the State Legislature, I have labored to give the people of North Miami-Dade
County a voice, to bring greater resources to our area, to
ensure that we enjoy better governmental services, and to help our
community prosper.
With your support, we can continue this important work through my election to the County Commission.
I hope you'll
continue to read through this Web site to learn more about
the Campaign. Then e-mail me if you have questions or
suggestions. My goal is to work hard to earn
your support and ultimately your vote on August 31, 2004.
